really, Really, REALLY exciting news!

I just found out yesterday that TEMPEST is nominated for the 2012 YALSA Teens Top Ten! It's such a huge honor to be nominated for this and I'm so excited for Tempest to be added to those summer reading lists. I have so much respect for teen librarians and all they do for young adults and authors. ALA is an amazing organization. To view the full list of nominees go here

So, basically all summer long teens all over the country will be tearing through all the books on this list (and yes, you should do this too!) and then in August and September, online voting will open. In October during Teen Read week the top 10 books will be announced.

Also, since I haven't posted this on the blog yet and since the other author in the video is also on this list with me, here's my new video segment titled "On The Phone With..." in which I call other authors and bug them with various questions and comments.
