Hey guys it's me, Hannah! Sorry I didn't post last week I was sick :(. Anyway this week
we’re going to talk about something that I’ve been thinking about lately: music.
My friend Rachel gave up her iPod for lent (crazy I know). It got me thinking
about how dependent I am on mine, and made me wonder what the world would be like
without it.
Ear buds and
headphones wouldn’t exist; we’d have no need for it. Nobody would know whom
John C. Koss is, the guy who invented the first stereo headphones (not that I
did before googling it).
The pair I want *sigh* so expensive.
Musicians would have to get *gasp* real jobs. Life would be so boring
without music, and lets not forget about movies and TV! What would we do
without our beloved background music and theme songs?! And what about concerts?
I don’t know about you, but I’m so stoked about Dave Matthews coming to Ohio!
Celebrities couldn’t be triple threats
anymore! Plus, what would they dance to?! Music is a creative outlet for so
many people—famous or not. Heck, half my friends play acoustic guitar! I, myself,
used to play viola (it’s like a violin, but bigger and with a C string instead
of an E string). One of my favorite bands (NevershoutNever) has rendered me
obsessed with ukuleles I want one so bad!
My father owns literally 100’s of cd’s. I
swear, an Amazon package comes with more every week. Now don’t get me wrong,
music can be extremely annoying, especially when blaring at full blast at 8:00
A.M. on a Saturday morning, and yet I find myself a little weirded out when I’m
alone and the house is silent. My point is that without music, none of us would
be the same. I wouldn’t be the weird girl singing at the top of her lungs to
some tune from two decades ago that she doesn’t even know the name of. I
wouldn’t be the girl obsessing over Christopher Drew’s amazingly hot tattoos,
and I’d actually be able to sleep in on Saturdays. It wouldn’t be me.
